Cagnes-sur-Mer sea outfall

Description

In the southern France resort town of Cagnes-sur-Mer, a new sea outfall has been installed with Bonna TP’s solutions. This important hydraulic and marine engineering project relies on reinforced concrete sheath (DN1600mm) and reinforced concrete pipes (DN1000mm). The total length of the pipe measures 693 meters.
The marine outfall pipe safely discharges the treated wastewater of a modern wastewater treatment plant – the first one in France with a positive energy balance. Bathing water quality will also be improved thanks to installing the new, longer and deeper sea outfall. The new wastewater treatment plant, called Aeris, became operational in 2020.
