Sateba and Sotradest, the two French companies of the Consolis railway branch, supplied 700.000 sleepers for the 300 km long section of railway to connect Paris and Strasbourg. The two companies also manufactured and delivered all of the 60.000 linear metres of prestressed concrete bearers for switches and crossings. The new railway is made for speed up to 350 km/hour.
