Today, June 25th, 2007, Consolis Finnish subsidiary Parma Oy, has sold its Rajaville operations in Oulu and the Rajaville name to Nord Element Oy. Nord Element is owned by Finnish companies Betset Oy, Ruskon Betoni Oy and Ylitornion Betonituote Oy. Parma will become owner of Nord Element with 47,5 % shareholding.

Nord Element, which will be renamed Rajaville Oy, has then two concrete element factories, one in Oulu and one in Haukipudas. The company has 200 employees, who will all continue in the company as former employees. The yearly budgeted turnover of the new company will be around 25 M€.

The renewed ownership structure means new opportunities and resources for Rajaville to serve customers in Northern Finland and Northern Scandinavia. As Parma will stay a shareholder in Rajaville it will offer the company the best possible know how in the industry. The new company will focus its operations in Northern Finland but it will also export to Northern Sweden and Norway. The new owners’ commitment to the company and belief in its future is strong.

Ilkka Kangas, M.Sc. (Tech.) has been appointed Managing Director of the company. Until now he has worked as Vice President in Parma Oy and during the years 1994–2003 as Managing Director of former Rajaville Oy.
