Consolis has now been actively involved in the windmill business for more than one year. During this time, Consolis Hormifuste has worked closely with other partners in order to create the Consolis concept for precast concrete windmill towers. Many contacts have been taken with turbine manufacturers, the typical key players when speaking of wind farm projects.

Recently, the first Consolis windmill contract has been signed. Parma Oy is to deliver four towers to Winwind Oy, a Finnish turbine manufacturer operating mainly in the Nordic and Baltic countries, with also activities in India and in other European countries. The project is located in Hamina, about 120 km east from Helsinki.
Parma Oy is in charge of the delivery of the concrete part of the tower (design, production, transportation and assembly). The tower is a so called hybrid model, approximately half made of concrete and half made of steel, which total height is around 100 m. The technical solution and the design result from the close co-operation of Consolis Hormifuste, Consolis Technology and Parma Oy.
