Spaencom A/S, the leading supplier of prefabricated concrete elements in Denmark, is now part of the Consolis Group as the transaction of Spaencom shares was closed on Wednesday, January 9th, 2008.

At the moment Consolis Group has a controlling interest of 50,01% in Spæncom A/S and 54,31% of the voting rights. Consolis has earlier secured an option to increase its stake in Spaencom to 90% of the share capital and of the voting rights during the next two years.

Spæncom develops, designs, manufactures and assembles concrete elements and system solutions for residential, industrial and institutional construction. The company operates four production units in Denmark and a German production unit south of Berlin. In 2006/07, the company had net sales of EUR 107 million, and it has approximately 750 employees. After the acquisition Spaencom will remain listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen.

The operating management and all employees of Spaencom will continue as such.
