Consolis is the new owner of WPS (Wytwórnia Podkładów Strunobetonowych S.A. Mirosław Ujski) in Ujscie in North West Poland. The transaction was made on May 26th, 2008 and Consolis now holds 100% of WPS capital.

WPS is one of the four main producers of railway sleepers in Poland. Therefore, this acquisition directly sets Consolis as a key player in the Polish sleeper market. WPS will soon be integrated into Consolis Rail Branch and it will be managed by Mr. Francesk Bednarsky who will report directly to Vice President Denis Vallet.
