To meet the growing demand in the market, Betonika built a new plant in Senieji Trakai. The official opening ceremony of the new facilities was held on September 20th, 2007.

At the opening ceremony Prime Minister of Republic of Lithuania Mr. Gediminas Kirkilas expressed his satisfaction with this significant investment by Consolis.

The new production facility will be able to produce more than 60 thousand m3 of precast concrete elements annually. The main market will be residential but elements for logistic warehouses, terminals, offices, shopping and entertainment centers will also be produced.

The elements for the new plant were made in Betonika’s Kaunas factory. The assembly was fulfilled in 6 months.

Requirements for the new plant were very strict as the production facility is located close to the national park. It boasts the most advanced air-cleaning system and is specially equipped for noise reduction. Additionally, it meets visual requirements – the special design adapts the plant into its surroundings.
